SKC Foundation Hosts Musical for a Cause in Support of Luke Warbeck Scholarship

On Thursday, June 2nd the SKC Foundation, in collaboration with the Barn Theatre, hosted a benefit performance of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with all proceeds benefitting the Luke Warbeck Scholarship. The Luke Warbeck Scholarship is awarded annually to two graduating Morris County High School seniors who best exemplify Luke’s character, entrepreneurial spirit and steadfast work ethic.

The evening began with a wonderful social hour and networking with friends of the SKC Foundation. Joe Elefante, brother of Gina Warbeck, gave a heartfelt, touching “curtain speech” prior to the performance. The talented actors of the Barn Theatre in Montville, NJ put on a fantastic show filled with music, laughter, and enthusiasm.

The SKC Foundation is extremely grateful to all who purchased or donated tickets as well as to our generous sponsors and greathearted volunteers. A very special thank you goes out to all at the Barn Theatre for making this fundraising opportunity a reality and for helping us surpass our fundraising goal.
