At my previous employer you had very little interaction with your clients, but at SKC it’s different - you do more for the client. For example, you do your client’s accounting, bookkeeping, tax work, tax planning, business valuation, it’s much more interactive with the clients here. I do a little bit of everything for them.

One of the biggest things I noticed about SKC is that it’s all about teamwork. There is a constant help from everyone, from the juniors up to the seniors, where they’re willing to help you learn and understand. Someone is always willing to jump in and help.

It’s a very different environment than most traditional accounting firms, we get very entrenched with our clients and are very trusted as part of their “dream team” of decision makers. We are in contact with our clients, at a minimum, once per month whether its personally or on the phone, meetings, conference calls, site visits - there really is nothing our clients do that we’re not involved in.
